Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is now the biggest fighting game of all time in terms of sales, but what if it was every big fighting game?

Well, modder ShoYouMomo set out to give everyone a small taste of just that with their new mod that replaces Smash's sound effects with those from some of the most iconic fighting games of the past 20+ years. Application load error morrowind.

With the example clip released of the new mod, the most immediate / obvious change is that of Smash's parries receiving the sound effect that made parries popular in the first place, Street Fighter 3: Third Strike.

Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 is also thrown into the mix too with its pre-fight message being added in along with the 'Danger' voice over placed on the critical slowdown hits during matches.

If you know your fighting game hit effects, it should also be pretty easy to point out that attacks also pull sounds from Dragon Ball FighterZ, Ultra Street Fighter 4 and Skullgirls.
