While Rational Team Concert provides integration with Visual Studio 2005-2010, the process to create automated builds for .NET solutions is not as straight-forward as it could be. Java based projects can take advantage of the Eclipse based client that is provided to completely manage the build cycle. To perform these actions for .NET, you need to use a combination of tools to provide the same functionality.

Rational Team Concert 3.0, released November 2011, includes a greatly improved client for Visual Studio and includes templates for creating builds for .NET projects.
